Andrew had the most humble beginnings in Los Angeles where at the age of 11 he was removed from his home by California Social Services when his parents could no longer legally care for him. His mother suffered from depression and his father spent time in and out of mental hospitals with multiple diagnoses. This early intervention motivated him to earn his bachelor’s in Social Work at ASU and work in low-income housing projects as a client advocate. He learned the importance of protecting his clients as he advocated for better housing conditions.
